PARENT & FAMILY CODE OF CONDUCT

As part of the Ascension Volleyball Club community, parents and guardians play a critical role in creating a positive, respectful, and competitive environment for all athletes.

We ask that all families commit to the following:

  • Ensure your athlete arrives on time, prepared, and ready to give her best effort at all practices and tournaments

  • Support your athlete’s development outside of scheduled practices

  • Reinforce that team success comes before individual recognition

  • Support all players and teams—not just your own child

  • Respect coaches, officials, and staff at all times

  • Allow coaches to coach and players to compete without sideline interference

  • Maintain composure and sportsmanship during practices and tournaments

  • Communicate with coaches and staff in a respectful, constructive manner, and at the appropriate time (not during practices or games)

  • Help maintain a positive, focused, and drama-free environment for all athletes

COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES

Clear and respectful communication is essential to a strong club environment.

Our Approach

  • We welcome constructive, solution-oriented communication

  • Concerns should be addressed directly and respectfully with the appropriate coach or staff member


When & How to Communicate

  • Communicate in person, by phone, or via email

  • Do not approach coaches during practices or tournaments

  • Schedule time to speak when needed


The 24-Hour Guideline
If an issue arises during a game or tournament, please wait 24 hours before reaching out. This allows time for perspective and more productive conversations.

PROGRAM COSTS & WHAT’S INCLUDED

We are committed to delivering a high-quality, structured club experience with clear expectations and strong value for families.

    • ⚫ Black Teams (National Level):
      $3,500 – $4,000
      Includes professional coaching, structured practices, tournament entry fees, and leadership development programming

    • 🔴 Red Teams (Regional Level):
      $2,800 – $3,500
      Includes professional coaching, structured practices, tournament entry fees, and leadership development programming

    • Uniform Package: $250 – $400
      (Game jerseys, practice gear, and required club apparel)

    • Tournament Travel (as applicable):
      Hotels, transportation, and meals for select events

    • Optional Gear & Spirit Wear:
      Hoodies, bags, and additional apparel

Payment Options:
We offer flexible payment plans to help families manage the season investment. Details are provided upon team placement and acceptance.

Financial Support & Partnerships:
We are actively seeking partnerships with local and national organizations to help offset costs for families where needed. Our goal is to expand access to club volleyball while continuing to build a sustainable, high-quality program.
